Mission Statement

At Nature’s Nurturing Nook, our mission is to raise awareness for the lives, intelligence, and emotional depth

of barnyard animals while providing a safe and compassionate refuge for those in need. We believe that

animals often viewed simply as livestock—such as pigs, goats, sheep, horses, and donkeys—deserve the same

respect, protection, and kindness as any companion animal.

Through rescue, lifelong sanctuary, and community education, we work to change the way people see and

value barnyard animals. By sharing their stories and advocating for humane treatment, we aim to inspire

compassion, responsible stewardship, and a deeper understanding of the animals who share our world

By becoming a monthly supporter of Nature’s Nurturing Nook, you help us continue

rescuing animals, sharing their stories, and educating the community about compassion for

barnyard animals.

• $25/month helps provide daily feed and care for goats and sheep

• $75/month helps supply hay, grain, and enrichment for pigs and other

sanctuary animals

• $150/month supports routine veterinary care, hoof trimming, and wellness checks

• $300/month helps provide hay, feed, and care for rescued horses and

donkeys

• $500/month helps fund emergency medical care, shelter improvements,

and rescue efforts
